Know a friend or relative who plays golf? Well, why not go mad this Christmas and buy them some ‘official’ WFC golf balls. It’s an amazing marketing departure - but a progressive one. Those little white balls are handsome - check them out for yourself. Consumer issues are all the rage at the moment. A fan came up to me the other day and started complaining about the programme binders on sale in the club shop. It was as if he was saying: ‘Please mention it in the next issue of Red Passion.’ So I am. According to this bloke the binders can hold a maximum of about 16 or 17 programmes - and certainly not a full season’s worth. Any more information on this matter?
