No.10: Kevin Russell by Ben Jackson

• Appearance: Classic appearance of a veteran football player who has probably played for almost every team in Division Two. Balding and always looks tired and could do with a shave.
• Attitude: He tries to give a 100% in every game but he fails and gets tired in the warm-up session on the pitch.
• Style: He plays slowly and looks like he would rather be at home than playing football but, saying that, he does have his moments.
• Best moment in a red shirt: If you went to Cambridge - probably the two goals he scored there.
• Worst moment in a red shirt: Probably any game where he has been slow and clumsy - so that is most games.
• Image: Bald, scruffy-looking guy who wears clothes like Austin Powers.
• Claim to fame: Probably when he is being interviewed and when he is on the telly.
• Friends say: Surely he can last another season.
• Enemies say: Should have gone seasons ago.
• Fame prospects: Absolutely none whatsoever unless he turns into a goalscoring machine (highly unlikely)
• Sex appeal: No comment.
• Value in the current market: Back in 1987 Wrexham paid £60,000 for Rooster.
• Describe him in three words only: Bald, slow, clumsy.
