What's going on?

The best…and worst

Looking back at last season, here are my personal favourites and least favourites in a simple ‘best and worst’ format.

GROUNDS: Best: Millwall (quality); Worst: Blackpool (Bloomfield Road is falling down).

KITS: Best: Gillingham (basically Inter Milan); Worst: Scunthorpe (one of those colours you can’t stand).

PLAYERS: Best: Trevor Benjamin (deserves to be training with England’s Under-21s at least); Worst: Steve Anthrobus (can’t outjump Deryn).

GOALKEEPERS: Best: Darren Ward (regularly seems unbeatable); Worst: Paul Lundin (capable of Cartwright-like errors).

PROGRAMMES: Best: Wrexham (who can argue with that?); Worst: Scunthorpe (even their league table didn’t add up).

CATERING: Best: Scunthorpe (cheapest on the planet); Worst: Everywhere with the same firm as Wrexham - Oxford, Chesterfield etc.
