Bad drivers and Hector

Elsie Price goes to a sunny Gigg Lane...

Once again, my son Steven and I were on our travels.

We started out on the supporters coach and arrived in Bury at 2.15pm after delays on the motorway and a stupid driver in the car in front of us - who put his own family at risk as well as our coach. The game began. What an excellent start! A goal after five minutes - our supporters were in good voice. I thought Kristian Rogers was brilliant in goal. Play like that every game, Kristian! I was also impressed by Carlos Edwards and Hector Sam. In fact the whole team played well - keep it up lads!

In the second half I thought we sat back a bit. We must keep up the attacks and score as many goals as we can. Our best goal, I thought, was Danny Williams' curler - although I enjoyed all four. I like the way Hector celebrated his goal! I'm looking forward to going to Port Vale, Stoke, Oldham, Wigan and Swindon later in the season. The last time I went to Port Vale - years ago - they kept coal in the ladies loo! It might be interesting to see if they still do! And if they have a light that works.
