Perfect Day

Heaven is a Racecourse Saturday
No.12 - MIKE LANGDON (CILCAIN, MOLD)
Get up? 10.30 to 11am.
Then? Have breakfast, check email.
Lunchtime? Read the Racing Post and get some bets on with my internet bookie - tax-free.
Pre-match? Drive to game with friends thinking: Have I done the right thing?
Pre-match inside Racecourse? When I see the ground nearly empty I wonder why the club don't cut ticket prices to get more people in as a lot of people I talk to won't pay £11 to stand on the Kop, never mind £13 to sit.
1st Half? Take up position on Kop.
Half-Time? Wonder what has been winning at Newbury, Newmarket etc.
Second Half? Update friends (from far away) about the score on the mobile.
Immediate post-match? Get out of the college car park and get home.
Teatime? Check to see how near the bottom of the league Wrexham have sunk to - and check the racing results.
Evening? Surf the net and visit the local watering hole.
All contributions to the PERFECT DAY slot are very welcome.
