There's only person to talk about this month: LEE TRUNDLE!

I'm proud to say that Wrexham bought Lee from Rhyl - my new club. So, obviously, I know quite a bit about him. What can I tell you? Well, first of all, it was me and my pal at Rhyl, Pete Parry, who spotted Lee when he was playing for Bamber Bridge at Colwyn Bay. Lee was up against this massive centre-half - but he did fantastically well. He actually scored four goals on the night - he was outstanding! He scored one goal from a free-kick that was, frankly, out of this world. Me and Pete said there and then that we had to buy him; and, fair play to Pete, he went out and got him for RFC.

Before Lee actually put pen to paper at Rhyl, me and Pete spoke to ex-Liverpool star Mark Wright. Mark had managed Lee at Southport and we wanted his expert opinion. And do you know what? Mark said, basically: don't touch him. He said that Lee had a bad attitude and we shouldn't go near him. Well, so much for Mark's judgement! I think Wright was wrong there, if you get my drift!

In the end Pete Parry took a gamble on Lee - and he's been proved right. Pete gave Lee a lot of confidence and, to be honest, he hasn't looked back. Credit too to Brian Flynn. He took a gamble on Lee as well - and I bet he hasn't stopped smiling since!

As a footballer Lee has got amazing ability - as I said in my last column in fact. He's got great technique and if he reminds me of one player…it's Bobby Shinton. Not a bad compliment!

The great thing too is that Rhyl will make a few bob out of Lee and I guess that, in the future, Wrexham might too! Lee's got a big chance now and I've got a lot of confidence in him. I think he'll take it with both hands, or both feet! He'll need a bit of luck along the way but he's started like a steam train.

Lee's a wonderful lad and he's got a very nice sun tan too. He certainly didn't get that in Rhyl! The goals he's got so far for Wrexham will do his confidence a world of good. And now he's got the fans on his side, I think he'll go on and score more. People are saying he's the new Gary Bennett. Well, Benno was a natural goalscorer; I think Lee is much more of an all-round player. Watch him go!

And my mate Pete Parry could be getting involved at the Racecourse as well. Pete's a great guy and a very successful businessman. He won't get involved just to sit on the fence; he'll get involved because he wants to bring success to Wrexham.

Cheers
