Customer Service

(Or lack of it)
Mik Lammond relates a sorrowful tale
I recently sent this letter to WFC:
Dear Sir
On Easter Monday I was at the Luton game and I went into the club shop. I bought one home shirt, two videos and one away shirt. I bought the away shirt because I was promised it wouldn't change next season. Now I find out that it's not even going to be blue! Also the two videos I bought have not been sent and none of my enquiries have been answered. I wrote a letter to the Commercial Manager but I've not received a reply. I've paid £30 for a shirt which is obselete and another £30 for videos that I haven't received. Has anybody else ever seen such terrible service? I'm writing another letter which I'm going to forward to RP and the Leader as this is making me lose the passion I've had for WFC since I was seven years old. I'm very close to being an ex-fan at the moment.
Yours in deep distress
Mik Lammond
I got the following reply:
Dear Mr Lammond
Thank you for your letter dated 29th May 2001. Please be assured that your comments are receiving our attention and you will receive an extensive reply from us in due course.
Yours sincerely
Christian Smith, Commercial Manager
The letter is dated 14th June. Wonderful. They won't even apologise. I'll keep you posted on the 'extensive reply'.
