The A-Z of Life - P is for lots of things...

P is for Poor Performances, Penalties missed and Power lacking in front of goal. Periodic flashes of brilliance - but not enough to prevent relegation. P must continue to stand for Passion, as in the title of this magazine. Ideally, there must be Passion on the field and the terraces. So often this season, while fans have paid their money and brought their enthusiasm, the team has appeared Passive in their approach to the game.

The word 'Passion', from the Latin 'Passio', brings together love, anger and suffering. At the end of this season, there will be many angry fans who feel they have suffered enough, but maybe there will be enough love left to bring the most ardent back to the Racecourse in hope come August.
