The A-Z of Life - Q is for many things...

Q reminds me of the programme A Question of Sport. Whatever the sport, there's a long history and no shortage of questions for the quiz.

World Cup fever gripped the nation in June and some of the most unlikely people became fervent England or Ireland supporters. (My favourite quote during the World Cup must be this: "Who can fail to wonder at the garrulity of football? The most monosyllabic person, brought to this all-dominating subject, is a fount of eloquence").

The question is now - can this enthusiasm be transferred from the armchair, television and big screen to the stands and terraces of the live arena? We hope for three Qs at the Racecourse during the coming season: Queues forming on the outside to see Quality football on the inside and Quick promotion. Quién sabe? (Who knows?) - Quo vadis? (Whither goest thou?) To support the Dragons because we did not Quit when they were relegated.
