Match Programme and Fanzines Food and Toilets

Macclesfield Town

Front cover? Laminated - and in colour.
Value for money? Very pricey at £2.50 (the most expensive in the division), but chunky too.
Decent content? Huge variety - from 'Macc Legends' to 'The Silk Girls'.
Attractive design? Top-notch.
Best article? 'In the Spotlight: Darren Tinson': 'Nickname - Tinno! Favourite drink - Vodka & Coke! Favourite Band - Lighthouse Family!' Groovy bloke.
Overall? Excellent - and very out of synch with Macclesfield the club and the town.

Rushden & Diamonds

Front cover? State-of-the-art action photo of the home skipper Underwood.
Value for money? I'll say. A whopping 64 pages (15 of which are adverts) for £2.20.
Decent content? Covers every conceivable subject, and some inconceivable ones, including a page on how to become a referee!
Attractive design? That would severely understate the case.
Best article? Difficult to choose, but I particularly enjoyed the addition of a Wrexham fan's view of our players in the "pen picture" section.
Overall? Probably the best opposition programme I've ever read.
Food: "My cheeseburger at Nene Park was as near to "succulent" as I think I've ever had at a football match."

Toilets: "Like the rest of the stadium, the Gents at Rushden were clean and roomy."
